Story Mode

Story Mode lets players experience the story of the Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai TV anime up until the “Battle of Sovereign Rock Castle.” Run through fields while controlling Avan’s disciples Dai, Popp, Maam, and Hyunckel, and fight in thrilling battles against mighty bosses. There are also numerous CG movies reminiscent of anime scenes. Set out on an adventure with Dai and friends!

■ Original Growth System: Bond Memories

As you progress on your adventure, you will be able to botain items called “Bond Memories.” Each character can be equipped with Bond Memories, which will increase their various stats such as attack power or HP according to the equipped Memory. Celsius pays down 143M in DAI loans since July 1

Celsius (CEL) has repaid a substantial amount of its outstanding debt to Maker (MKR) protocol since the beginning of the month, signaling that the troubled crypto lending platform was trying to stave off a complete collapse amid credible rumors of insolvency.

Since July 1, Celsius has repaid $142.8 million worth of Dai (DAI) stablecoins across four separate transactions, according to data from DeFi Explorer. The crypto lender still has $82 million in outstanding debt owed to Maker. Out of $1.8 billion in lifetime investments, the firm’s losses currently stand at $667.2 million.

With the loan repayments, Celsius’ liquidation price on its Wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC) loan has dropped to $4,966.99 Bitcoin (BTC). The liquidation price reportedly fell by nearly half since Celsius posted a $64 million DAI payment on July 4, mere hours after it paid $50 million in DAI.

Celsius is among several crypto blue-chip companies on the brink of insolvency after extreme market conditions triggered historic losses across multiple positions. The firm paused withdrawals in mid-June due to extreme market conditions and later brought on new legal counsel to advise on restructuring. Reports that United States mega-bank Goldman Sachs was looking to acquire Celsius’ assets soon surfaced.

Despite liquidity issues and signs of an imminent collapse in its business, Celsius was reportedly still paying rewards as of last week. Although Celsius users were still receiving rewards, they were unable to withdraw them due to liquidity constraints.

A new release date will be announced at a later time.

According to Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai game project general producer Ryutaro Ichimura, users expressed various feedback when the game was first announced in May 2020, including “Why not try a little harder on the graphics?” and “You’re releasing it like this?” With that feedback in mind, the development team came to the conclusion that unless they improved the quality of the game, they would not be able to meet expectations, and so the game underwent a major redesign. Particularly, significant improvements have been made to the graphics.

Daimler to split in two companies, Daimler Truck to focus on EV, self-driving

Germany’s Daimler AG
DAI,
+8.91%,
the company behind well-known auto brands such as Mercedes Benz and truck and bus makers Freightliner and Thomas Built, said Wednesday it plans to split into two standalone companies, spinning off Daimler Truck, which will focus on electric vehicles and self-driving. The other part of the business will be renamed Mercedes-Benz “at the appropriate time,” the company said, and aim to be the “world’s preeminent luxury car business, committed to leading in electric drive and car software,” it said. Daimler Truck “will accelerate its path towards zero emissions as the world’s largest truck and bus producer and technology leader,” Daimler said. The company’s board will start preparing for listing Daimler Truck on the Frankfurt stock exchange, with the intention that “a significant majority stake in Daimler Truck will be distributed to Daimler shareholders,” it said. The two sides of the business “will be able to operate most effectively as independent entities, equipped with strong net liquidity and free from the constraints of a conglomerate structure,” said Ola Källenius, chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler and Mercedes-Benz, in a statement. Daimler stock rose 7% after the news. Analysts at RBC Capital said later Wednesday they “applaud” the decision to list a majority stake in Daimler Trucks as “this is key in getting a proper valuation.” Future financial disclosures by Daimler Trucks could include region-specific detail, which Wall Street would welcome, the analysts said.
