Courtney Cox responds to Kanye West saying ‘Friends’ isn’t funny

Don’t mess with her friends.

Courtney Cox has given fans another reason to laugh, after posting a hilarious clapback to Kanye West’s declaration that he doesn’t think “Friends” was funny.

Cox, 58, who starred as Monica Geller in the hit sitcom, responded to the 45-year-old rapper the only way she knows how — in an Instagram post that cheekily pokes fun at him.

West’s initial message, which has since been deleted, claimed he didn’t write many of his past viral tweets, including one from two years ago in which he said he didn’t find “Friends” amusing — though, now in hindsight, he “wishes” he had penned that one.

In response, Cox posted a clip showing herself dancing to West’s 2008 hit “Heartless” while she scrolls on Instagram, pausing when she see’s his post.

West’s deleted caption read, “I actually didn’t write the tweet that said ‘Friends wasn’t funny either’ but I wish I had. I’d love to know who thought of that.”

As the camera zooms in on the “Friends wasn’t funny” sentence, Cox furiously switches off her speaker and puts her phone down before walking away.

She captioned her clap back, “I bet the old Kayne thought Friends was funny.”

The clip has been viewed over 4.6 million times, with thousands of people commenting on Cox’s masterpiece.

“I love Friends as much as Kanye loves Kanye,” director Murray Cummings wrote.

“This is incredible,” magician Amy Wager laughed.

“How can you not love Friends???” questioned another.

Courtney Love Deletes Video About Johnny Depp Saving Her Life in 1995

  • Courtney Love shared and deleted a post about her personal history with Johnny Depp.
  • In the since-deleted post, she said he saved her from a 1995 overdose, People reported.
  • Love posted an apparent follow-up on Saturday, saying she wanted to “show neutral support.”

Courtney Love posted and deleted a video about Johnny Depp saving her from a 1995 overdose, in which she also appeared to suggest that Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard was using a “movement” for her “own personal gain” amid the former couple’s ongoing defamation trial, People reported.

The actress and Hole frontwoman issued what appeared to be a follow-up post on Saturday on Instagram. While she did not name Depp nor Heard in the new post, she expressed regret for engaging in “expressing thoughts online.”

“I want to show neutral support for a friend,” Love wrote in the post, which was accompanied by a video of her walking her dog. “I don’t want to bully. I’ve been bullied enough. I did not want to express my own bias / internalized misoginy.”

“I want nothing to do with contributing more online bullying to someone enduring being bullied like noone ever has been online. Ever,” she continued, seemingly referring to Heard, who has been heavily criticized online.

A post shared by Courtney Love Cobain (@courtneylove)

Depp and Heard are currently engaged in an ongoing lawsuit, which came about after Depp filed a $50 million defamation suit against Heard in 2019, saying that an op-ed she wrote about domestic violence had “devastated” his career, despite not naming him in it, Insider previously reported. He also said that Heard had abused him.

In response, Heard accused Depp of abusing her over the course of their relationship. She filed a $100 million countersuit in August 2020, and the trial began in Virginia in April.

Love shared her previous history with Depp in a since-deleted post

In her since-deleted post, Love said that Depp gave her CPR in 1995 when she “overdosed outside the Viper Room,” according to People.

Love also said that Depp wrote her daughter Frances Bean Cobain a letter for her 13th birthday, during a period when Love was “on crack” and her daughter was “having to suffer through that with all these social workers,” People reported. Love reportedly said that Depp “sent limos” to her daughter’s school to transport her and her friends to see the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies.

She also commented on Heard’s involvement in the lawsuit, insinuating that Heard was playing into the #MeToo movement for her own benefit.

“I’ve been the most hated woman in America, and I have a lot of empathy for what that must feel like for Amber,” she said in the since-deleted video, according to The Cut. “But if you use a movement for your own personal gain and you inhabit queer, feminist, intersectional spaces and you abuse that moment, then I hope justice gets served — whatever it is.”

In the follow-up post Saturday, Love said that she “certainly [doesn’t] always do the right thing,” and said that she was “wrong.”

“The only important takeaway, of what was posted, is that I expressed that we should all stop having ‘fun with shadenfraude,'” she wrote.

“If I hurt anyone, please accept my amends,” Love said.

Florida model Courtney Clenney spotted in Miami hotel with father after boyfriend’s stabbing death

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

A woman staying at the Grand Beach Hotel in Miami spotted Instagram model Courtney Clenney with her father Friday at the hotel’s lobby bar after the April 3 stabbing death of her boyfriend, Christian Tobechukwu Obumseli.

Obumseli, 27, suffered “an apparent knife wound” in a domestic violence incident before first responders rushed him 2 ½ miles away to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami police said in a statement. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

In a video of the encounter at Grand Beach Hotel posted to social media, Clenney and her father can be seen getting up and leaving the hotel lobby while another guest demands that they leave.

“You should go. Yeah, you should go,” the guest, who goes by the Instagram username nnenna_xoxo, tells Clenney and her father in the video.

No charges have been filed in the case. Clenney’s lawyer, Frank Preito, said she was defending herself.

FLORIDA MAN DEAD, MODEL LOVER FOUND SOAKED IN BLOOD

Preito told Fox News Digital Saturday that Clenney and her father were staying at the hotel on Miami Beach’s Collins Avenue because they are cooperating in the Miami Police Department’s investigation of the incident, and she did not want to stay at her Miami apartment where the fatal stabbing occurred last weekend.

“It is unfortunate that a member of the public, knowing absolutely nothing about the circumstances and events surrounding the death of Mr. Obumseli, would take the opportunity to harass the Clenney family during a time when they are trying to be supportive of Courtney,” Prieto said. “Courtney was seated at a table in the hotel lobby area where there is also a bar. Courtney’s father was standing there trying to order a drink to take outside so they could be in private on the beach.”

The attorney claimed “Courtney is a victim of physical, emotional and mental abuse at the hands of Mr. Obumseli” based on his firm’s investigation of the incident.

“We are also investigating whether Courtney was the victim of human trafficking,” he added.

FLORIDA MOM, BIKINI MODEL, DEFENDS FAMILY IN GUNFIGHT DURING ARMED HOME INVASION

“Mr. Obumseli was in the act of committing a forcible felony that tragic evening last Sunday. He had previously gained access to Courtney’s apartment without permission on several occasions in the days leading up to that night,” Prieto said. “Courtney acted in self-defense; the investigation by both the City of Miami Police Department and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office will conclude such. With that said, we would ask for the public’s understanding about observing the Clenney family’s privacy at this time.”

Lee Merritt, a prominent civil rights attorney representing Obumseli’s family, has not responded to multiple requests for comment.

Video showing the aftermath of the altercation obtained by TMZ appears to show a distraught, blood-covered woman in handcuffs sitting on a balcony, speaking with police. The front of her white sweatpants is stained red, as are her arms, chest, stomach and forehead.

Authorities said they had interviewed a woman who was involved in “a physical altercation” with Obumseli and that homicide detectives were investigating. A law enforcement source told Fox News Digital that Clenney was taken to a hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Miami-based WPLG 10 reported Friday that friends of the couple described “a very rocky relationship,” although the sources gave conflicting stories about who might have been the aggressor.

The couple reportedly broke up last month, according to the Miami Herald, and Obumseli allegedly began sleeping in the building’s common areas.

Then on April 1, Miami police were dispatched to their apartment for a separate domestic call, the paper reported, citing local law enforcement sources. The officers found bruises on Clenney’s arms and legs, but no one was arrested.

Clenney uses the name Courtney Tailor on Instagram and OnlyFans, where she boasts more than 2 million followers.
