Chelsea Handler says Jo Koy took no ‘accountability’ for breakup

Chelsea Handler hasn’t spoken to ex Jo Koy for “awhile” after their breakup earlier this year.

The comedian said the pair — who were longtime pals before they began dating in 2021 — couldn’t repair their friendship until Koy took “accountability” for his part in their split.

“I mean, there has to be some accountability, you know what I mean? Like, from him about what happened, because it was just ridiculous,” Handler, 47, said on Brooke Shields’ “Now What?” podcast on Tuesday.

“I don’t think we can have a friendship until there’s some accountability and some responsibility taken.”

While she didn’t divulge exactly what Koy, 51, wasn’t taking accountability for, the standup comic explained their relationship “devolved” over the 11 months they were together.

“There was just some behaviors that we couldn’t agree on,” Handler explained. “And it felt to me like I would have to abandon myself, which maybe I would have been OK to do if I were 20 or 25. But I wasn’t willing to do that.”

The former “Chelsea Lately” host continued, stating that even though she “loved him so much” she was “not going to abandon” herself.

“I was like, ‘I’m not going to change the way that I behave in order to make you feel more comfortable. I’m not doing that,’” she shared.

“I had to walk away from something that I really thought was going to be a forever relationship.”

Handler added that the pair could not agree on “several situations” and that while she thought therapy could help, “it did not.”

Ultimately, she said at the end it became clear that Koy was not her “person.”

“Walking away from him was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do,” she said.

Koy and Handler called it quits in July 2022, with the “Life Will Be the Death of Me” author announcing that the pair were “taking a break.”

That same month, Handler revealed on another podcast that the couple split because “you can’t change a person intrinsically.”

Justin Theroux reacts to Jennifer Aniston revealing infertility journey

Justin Theroux showed support for his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, after she revealed she struggled to get pregnant through in-vitro fertilization in her late 30s and 40s.

The “Friends” alum, 53, had taken to Instagram on Wednesday to share a few sultry photos from her Allure cover story.

“End of an era. Thank you @allure for making me the cover girl of your very last print issue 🤍🥹,” she captioned the photos in part.

Theroux, 51, commented with a fist bump and heart emoji under the post — which quickly racked up over 4 million likes.

The “American Psycho” star, —who was married to Aniston from 2015 to 2018 — was just one of many celebrities to send their love after she spoke out about the “challenging road” she faced while “trying to get pregnant” in the public eye.

“All the years and years and years of speculation. .. It was really hard,” she told the outlet about fending off pregnancy rumors while dealing with infertility.

“I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed,” she continued.

In her interview, she also clapped back at the “narrative” that she never wanted children.

“It was absolute lies,” Aniston, who was also married to Brad Pitt, said about claims she was “selfish” and only cared about her “career.”

“And God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child. And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a kid,” she continued, adding, “I don’t have anything to hide at this point.”

However, the A-list actor says sharing her journey feels “like coming out of hibernation” and she has “zero regrets” about how things have panned out.

Tom Brady tried to save Gisele Bündchen marriage, but was ‘too late’

Tom Brady didn’t put in enough effort to save his marriage with Gisele Bündchen even though he “didn’t want the marriage to end.”

Before the pair filed and finalized their divorce on Friday, the NFL star, 45, was willing to do “whatever he needed to do to fix things,” according to People Magazine.

Sources told the outlet that “near the end” of their 13-year marriage, Brady wanted to “make things right” because he “didn’t want the kids to have divorced parents.”

The quarterback was reportedly “willing to go to therapy, marriage counseling — whatever it took to make things work,” but Bündchen, 42, felt it was “too little, too late.”

“She gave him a lot of opportunities to fix things, and he didn’t,” they continued, adding that while Brady was “busy following his passion” the supermodel was left to parent on her own.

“This was not Tom’s idea,” the insider said of the split. “This was never Tom’s idea.”

The former Victoria’s Secret model felt like “he wasn’t hearing what she was saying” when she asked him “over and over” to “be more present” with their children.

Back in September, Bündchen told Elle magazine about her “concerns” regarding Brady’s “violent” career in the midst of their “epic fight.”

The model told the outlet that she has “definitely had those conversations” about wanting him to retire, but added “that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”

However, shortly after Bündchen changed her tune when she allegedly gave the athlete an ultimatum and threatened to end their marriage.

“Gisele told Tom either he leaves football to spend time with the family or she is gone for good,” a source told Us Weekly last week.

“She doesn’t want him to continue to get injured and not be able to enjoy life in the future. She is doing it for her family.”

However, it appears Brady made the wrong choice as the supermodel filed for divorce shortly after, citing that the union was “irretrievably broken,” according to the court documents.

Although Brady vowed to do “whatever it took” to save their marriage, the NFL star is now doing whatever he can to be the best father — including going to a 4-hour “family stabilization” course.

The father of three has been spotted trick-or-treating, heading to the movies, and volunteering at the food bank with his sons Jack, 15, Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9 in the last week.

Since the split, the athlete says he is “focused on two things, taking care of my family and certainly my children, and secondly, doing the best job I can to win football games.”

Gisele Bündchen ‘done’ with Tom Brady, marriage can’t be ‘repaired’

The Brady Bündchen is beyond repair.

Gisele Bündchen is “done” trying to make her marriage to Tom Brady work, a source close to the model revealed amid rumors that they are heading for Splitsville.

“She is done with their marriage,” the insider told People in an article published Friday. “She was upset about it for a long time and it’s still difficult, but she feels like she needs to move on. She doesn’t believe that her marriage can be repaired.”

But the source also claimed that the Victoria’s Secret model, 42, is “doing OK” amid the heartbreak.

“She is just trying to figure out her life,” the insider said, adding, “She doesn’t have much contact with Tom.”

Bündchen is more worried for the children than for herself. She and the NFL star share son Benjamin Rein, 12, and 9-year-old daughter Vivian Lake. Brady also has a 15-year-old son, John Edward, with his ex Bridget Moynahan.

The source shared that Bündchen “feels bad for the kids, but she doesn’t expect any custody issues.”

She would most likely stay in the $17 million property the pair recently purchased in the ultra-exclusive Indian Creek Island on Miami Beach, the source claimed.

“Gisele loves Miami. She has friends there. She can see herself living there permanently,” the source told the outlet.

“Again, she is still trying to figure things out. She is doing yoga, meditating and taking care of herself. She doesn’t put any pressure on herself to make drastic decisions.”

This week, Page Six exclusively revealed both Bündchen and Brady, 45, have hired divorce lawyers. The news comes a month after sources told us that the estranged couple had an epic fight resulting in “the end of them.”

“I don’t think there will be any coming back now,” one insider recently told Page Six. “They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”

The pair have been staying in separate houses since moving to Miami and out of Tampa Bay amid devastating Hurricane Ian.

Tino Franco cheats on Rachel Recchia

“The Bachelorette” delivered on its promise for the most dramatic season finale ever.

Moments after viewers watched Tino Franco propose to Rachel Recchia and vow to spend the rest of his life with her, he admitted to cheating on his new fiancée in Tuesday night’s tense conclusion.

“I messed up, and I kissed another girl,” the general contractor, 28, told the flight instructor, 26, during an emotional confrontation.

“The second I did, I knew I belonged with you, and this was the tiniest thing ever, so I just tried to … get past it,” he explained.

As Recchia pressed Franco for more details, he shared that he kissed a woman he had met prior to going on the ABC reality series but insisted they “never went on a date.”

“I truly felt like I had found my person,” Recchia told host Jesse Palmer.
ABC

Franco then pulled out a journal in which he documented his post-show conversations with Recchia about her wanting to return her engagement ring, seemingly trying to place the blame on the “Bachelorette” co-lead as their relationship rapidly crumbled.

Recchia proceeded to beg her fiancé to “tell the truth,” saying she “highly” doubted he only kissed the other woman.

As Franco broke down in tears, Recchia declared that she was “done” with him and took off her ring.

Recchia split her “Bachelorette” duties with co-lead Gabby Windey.
ABC

After a commercial break, the former couple came face-to-face for the first time since their on-camera breakup.

Franco again apologized for his actions, telling Recchia he could not “imagine what [she was] going through” and praising her for “always” being “so sweet” to him.

“You were amazing, and you didn’t deserve what I did,” he confessed, acknowledging that his “mistake was not [her] fault.”

With her family watching on from the audience, Recchia told Franco there was “absolutely no excuse” for what he did.

“You broke my heart,” the former “Bachelor” contestant added, calling the California native’s transgression “inexcusable.”

In yet another surprising twist, the segment ended with “Bachelorette” host Jesse Palmer bringing out Recchia’s runner-up, Aven Jones, who asked the Chicago native to leave with him. She enthusiastically agreed as Franco stood up with a stunned look on his face.

Sylvester Stallone addresses reports that a dog caused marriage to end

That’s the doggone truth.

Sylvester Stallone is denying claims that his 25-year-old marriage ended because of his dog.

On Wednesday, it was reported that Stallone’s wife, Jennifer Flavin, filed for divorce because they fought over a new Rottweiler named Dwight.

The argument over the pooch — Flavin didn’t want another pet while Stallone wanted the dog for “protection” — supposedly led to an “extremely heated argument that brought up other issues.”

But Stallone is denying the canine charges.

“We did not end the relationship on such a trivial argument,” the “Rocky” star, 76, told TMZ, although he did concede that the couple disagreed over “how to care for the dog” given they often travel and live in two homes.

Stallone explained the surprise split as the couple just going “in different directions.”

“I have the highest respect for Jennifer,” he added. “I will always love her. She’s an amazing woman. She’s the nicest human being I’ve ever met.”

Stallone said he was “blindsided” by his wife filing for divorce.

He also cleared up the air regarding a tattoo of Flavin that he covered up with a portrait of Dwight.

“The Expendables” star explained that he wanted to “freshen” up his Flavin inking but “it got messed up and the dog was just a fix will no ill intention,” before adding that he still has a tattoo of his estranged wife on his back.

Page Six exclusively reported that Stallone was “blindsided’ by Flavin filing for divorce last week. He was shooting the Paramount+ series “Tulsa King” in Oklahoma City and was “shocked” when he got the news.

Stallone also explained why he covered up a tattoo of Flavin with a portrait of his dog.

“I’m sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone,” Flavin told People.. “While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters.”

The couple first began dating in 1988, when Flavin was a 19-year-old model and Stallone was 42 and twice divorced. After an on-again-off-again relationship, the pair married in 1997 and share three daughters, Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet.

Florence Pugh confirms she and Zach Braff broke up

Florence Pugh confirmed she and Zach Braff quietly broke up in early 2022 after nearly three years of dating.

“We’ve been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it’s been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on,” Pugh told Harper’s Bazaar in her September 2022 cover story, published Tuesday. “We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we’re not together.

“So we’ve done that. I automatically get a lumpy throat when I talk about it.”

Throughout their relationship, the “Don’t Worry Darling” star, 26, often hit back at the critical commentary she and the “Scrubs” alum, 47, faced over their age gap.

Pugh reiterated to the glossy that she feels she should not be picked apart because of her career choice.

“We’ve been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it’s been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on,” she explained.
John Edmonds

“Whenever I feel like that line has been crossed in my life, whether it’s paparazzi taking private moments, or moments that aren’t even real, or gossip channels that encourage members of the public to share private moments of famous people walking down the street, I think it’s incredibly wrong,” she said.

“I don’t think that people, just because they have this job, that every aspect of their life should be watched and written about. We haven’t signed up for a reality TV show.”

The pair began dating in fall 2019.

Braff has not publicly commented on their split.

Page Six broke the news in October 2019 that the “Garden State” star and the “Little Women” actress were spotted getting cozy at a Whole Foods in Hollywood.

“It was very clear to me that they’re a couple,” a source told us at the time.

Pugh confirmed the romance two months later when she clapped back at an internet troll for insulting the age difference in her relationship.

Lauren Graham and Peter Krause break up

Lauren Graham and Peter Krause have separated after more than 10 years together.

The couple “quietly ended their relationship last year,” the “Gilmore Girls” alum’s rep confirmed to People Friday.

Graham, 55, and the former “Six Feet Under” star, 56, met in 1995 while appearing in the NBC sitcom “Caroline in the City” before landing their signature roles.

“She had me move some furniture into her apartment for her back then,” Krause explained during a 2017 appearance on “Live with Kelly.” “I didn’t catch the signal.”

They also presented together at the 2002 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The longtime friends, however, did not begin dating until they were cast as siblings Sarah and Adam Braverman in “Parenthood” in 2010.

The exes knew each other for over a decade before they began dating.

“One of the things that’s been so fun is that it’s so easy,” Graham said of working with her then-beau in a 2010 interview with Redbook. “It’s a lot, to work with somebody and spend time with them, too.”

She added of their romance, “Nobody knew about it for a while because we like to be at home, cooking and not going out. I’ve also been really protective of it because it’s important that you can buy us as brother and sister on the show.”

The actress looked back on the early days of their relationship in a 2017 interview with Good Housekeeping, revealing, “We couldn’t stop talking. Not about ourselves, but about the world and books and family.

“Once we got together, there was no game play[ing],” she explained. “It was like, ‘You like me, and I like you.’ It gave me an understanding of life: This is how things happen, and it’s completely random.”

The COVID-19 pandemic found the pair on different rhythms, as Graham returned home after five months of working in Vancouver to Krause and his son Roman, who had implemented several new protocols in her absence.

“I think the re-entry was more difficult,” she said during an April 2021 appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” “It was more like they were the married couple, and I was the person who … they were like, ‘We don’t do it that way anymore.’ They were like, ‘No, no, no, this is how things happen.’”

“Here for you both. You’ll get through this,” Kyle Cooke added.

Schwartz confirmed in a lengthy statement on Instagram that the “rumors floating around” about his marriage were true, writing in part, “my heart aches but I’ll be ok. … Fully respect Katie’s decision and we’ve had healthy, productive conversations about it. It would be far sadder if she decided to stay with me whilst not happy.”

Maloney wrote in her post that the split was “not met with resentment or animosity” and vowed to “always remain” friends.

“Although we may be on different paths we will continue love and support one another’s happiness,” she added.

‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz break up

Bubba-bye.

“Vanderpump Rules” stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz have broken up after nearly 12 years together.

“Well this sucks,” Schwartz began in a lengthy statement posted on Instagram Tuesday night. “How am I supposed to capture 12 years of love in a f–kin canned Instagram caption. What picture am I supposed to use? Is there a go-to break up font?”

He continued that he wanted to clear up rumors going around.

“Katie & I are separating. I’m not quite ready to use the “D” word bc it’s too painful. Yes my heart aches but I’ll be ok. Not looking to evoke any sympathy here. I’m not the victim. Not gonna write too sad a song.”

He then revealed that she decided to leave him and the pair have had “healthy” and “productive” conversations about their relationship. He also added that it felt “tone def” to ask people to respect their privacy.

“So instead I’ll ask to please be kind,” he wrote. “I don’t fault you for any snap judgment. If I was watching us on VPR for the last 9 years I’d be making them too. Perception gets skewed bc of seeing [sic] snipets of our lives on the show, but I’m telling you we had some of the most blissful, romantic, fun times humanely possible over the course of our relationship. I’m talking heaven on earth level joy.

Schwartz announced the split on his Instagrams, adding photos of the pair in happier times at the end.

“She taught me so much about love & being a better partner.”

He said he doesn’t look at their marriage as a “failure” despite being sad, adding that there is “no anger or bitterness.”

“I don’t think we were ever a model couple. Maybe we are model divorcées. A dubious title I suppose,” he continued, ending his post saying that he’ll be fine.

“So I’ll shut up now and say it one last time, love you Bub. Always & forever you’ll be in my heart. On my ass? Maybe not so much.”

Maloney also took to Instagram to release a statement about their split on Tuesday evening.

He added several photos of the pair throughout their relationship together as well.

Maloney also announced the split on her Instagram with a much shorter note.

“After 12 years on an adventure through life together Tom and I are ending our marriage,” she wrote. “This ending is not met with resentment or animosity, no sides to choose. We have deep admiration for one another that will always remain and we cherish our friendship. Although we may be on different paths we will continue to love and support one another’s happiness.

“Thank you all for the kind words and support,” she ended, adding two photos of the couple together.

“Vanderpump Rules” fans have witnessed the now-estranged couple’s ups and downs over the years.
Bravo

The Bravo couple first sparked split rumors on March 10 when fans noticed that Maloney was not wearing her wedding ring during a girls’ night out with former co-star Stassi Schroeder.

“Left hand perfectly positioned to show us no ring,” one Instagram user commented at the time.

One month prior, however, Maloney, 35, and Schwartz, 39, appeared to still be on good terms, as he posted a selfie for Valentine’s Day with his gold wedding band clearly visible.

“It’s Friday, I’m in love,” he captioned the sweet selfie.

As documented on “Vanderpump Rules,” the pair faced many love hurdles throughout their long-term relationship — namely cheating, rage texts and explosive arguments.

Maloney and Schwartz had fewer disagreements during Season 9.
Bravo

However, during 2021’s Season 9, Maloney and Schwartz seemed to have put the drama behind them and were in a good place in their marriage.

And yet, they still had some hiccups, including arguing over Maloney’s involvement in Schwartz and co-star Tom Sandoval’s new business venture, a bar named Schwartz & Sandy’s.

Maloney ultimately ended up taking a step back and partnered with Sandoval’s girlfriend, Ariana Madix, to start a sandwich shop, Something About Her.

Maloney and Schwartz also documented their fertility journey as they struggled to get pregnant despite not using contraception.

Maloney told us in January that she and Schwartz had stopped actively trying to conceive.

In January, Maloney told Page Six she and Schwartz were no longer “actively trying” to conceive.

“I don’t want to put that kind of pressure on myself, on my marriage, on [Schwartz], on anyone. I’m perfectly content with where I’m at,” she said at the time.

Maloney and Schwartz started dating in September 2010 and tied the knot in a woodsy ceremony in front of Bravo cameras in August 2016.

They later realized they were not legally married and jetted off to Las Vegas with close friends in July 2019 to make their union official.
