Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills taking a break! Andy Cohen confirms show is on pause

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills taking a break! Andy Cohen confirms show is on pause after controversial season with Kathy Hilton and Lisa Rinna… and will resume in 2023

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be going to slow down a bit.

One of the show’s producers, Andy Cohen, 54, told E! News that the Los Angeles-based reality TV show will be taking a ‘minute’ break.

The talk show host did not reveal why the show – which stars Kathy Hilton and Lisa Rinna – would not be filming as usual.

Pause for a minute: Bravo boss Andy Cohen, 54, told E! News that the LA-based reality show will be taking a hiatus and resume filming in 2023

‘Beverly Hills, we’re taking a minute break,’ the executive producer told E! News.

‘And then we’ll be back shooting with them in the new year,’ he added.

He did not reveal which housewives would be returning for the next season.

Dramatic reunion: The talk show host did not reveal which housewives would be returning after the latest controversial season

The latest season included: Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and Kathy Hilton in a ‘friend of’ the cast.

This follows a particularly controversial season after drama occurred during a cast trip to Aspen, Colorado.

Kathy Hilton, 63, gave an ultimatum to Bravo and said she would not return to RHOBH unless Lisa Rinna, 59, and Erika Jayne, 51, were removed from the cast.

Meet the cast: The latest season included Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and Kathy Hilton in a ‘friend of’ the cast.

In October, Hilton told TMZ that the two were ‘bullies’ who would ‘throw anybody under the bus.’

The Hilton matriarch explained: ‘I had said I would only be willing to come back if the cast [changed].

‘If it was completely the same, absolutely not,’ the reality star added. ‘Because I feel they are two bullies that intimidate a lot of the other girls.’

Stay tuned: While Bravo is working out these issues with the cast, the executive producer shared the schedules and plans of other branches within the franchise

At the RHOBH season 12 reunion, more drama consequently ensued and led to a blowout fight between the housewives.

While Bravo is working out these issues with the cast, Cohen shared the schedules and plans of other branches within the franchise.

‘We are shooting the new Real Housewives of New York City that I’m excited about, and then we’ll get Legacy going,’ the producer said.

Cohen also shared that the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is ‘in the middle of a gangbuster season.’

The third season should wrap in early 2023, similarly to the Real Housewives of Potomac — which is currently airing and having a ‘fantastic season’.

He told fans to expect ‘lots more Ultimate Girls Trips’ in 2023. A third season will be returning to Peacock.

Just about every surviving Beverly Hills Cop cast member will be back for Netflix sequel

John Ashton and Judge Reinhold

Paul Reiser, Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, and Bronson Pinchot have all confirmed that they’ll be appearing in the upcoming Netflix film Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley, Deadline reports. In addition to already-attached star Eddie Murphy, that means that pretty much the entirety of the surviving recurring cast of the 1980s and ’90s mega-hit franchise will be coming back for this 30-years-later sequel. (The main exception being former Detroit cop and politician Gil Hill, who played Alex Foley’s long-suffering boss in each installment of the franchise, and who died in 2016.)

Of the four actors, only Reinhold appeared in all three of the Hills films, appearing in 1984, 1987, and 1994 as Detective Billy Rosewood. Ashton appeared in BHC and BHC II as Billy’s partner, John Taggart, but was forced to miss Beverly Hills Cop 3, with a replacement part going to Hector Elizondo, instead. Reiser similarly missed the franchise’s poorly-regarded third installment, after appearing as Foley’s Detroit-based partner, Jeffrey Freidman, in the first two movies. Pinchot, meanwhile, skipped Beverly Hills Cop II, after a career-making turn as snooty art dealer Serge in the first film; he came back for the third movie.

Okay, does everyone have their Beverly Hills Cop Acting Universe charts properly filled in now?

Anyway, they’re all back now, along with Murphy himself, slipping back into the fashionable jackets of Axel Foley for the fourth time. And hopefully with more energy than he mustered back in ’94; both Pinchot, and director John Landis, noted at different times how dispirited Murphy seemed to be with the whole endeavor by the time Beverly Hills Cop III rolled around.

Axel Foley has been in the works for a few years now. Netflix snapped up the rights to the sequel back in 2019, with no release date currently set.

Beverly Grove shooting: Police searching for 3 suspects after man killed in shooting at gas station near Beverly Center

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Police are looking for three suspects they say shot at a man’s vehicle at a gas station in the Beverly Grove area Friday afternoon, leaving him dead.

Authorities say the victim, who was described only as a 23-year-old man, took off in a black Cadillac Escalade after he was shot at La Cienega and Beverly boulevards, across the street from the Beverly Center.

Paramedics were seen treating the victim after he stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Santa Monica and San Vicente boulevards in West Hollywood.

The victim was transported to a hospital, where the man died.

Lt. John Radke with the Los Angeles Police Department said the three suspects opened fire at the gas station from their car and shot the victim while he was in the SUV.

The victim was with several other people in the SUV, though their conditions are unknown.

“We don’t know why or how this happened, all we know is that the victim vehicle, they pulled up, they were pumping gas and it looks like they probably finished pumping gas and the suspects approached from the alley, got out of the car and started shooting at those victims,” said Radke.

The incident happened just before 5:30 p.m., according to LAPD.

Radke said the three suspects took off in a white four-door sedan though a make and model were not immediately available.

At least one person was seen being detained by law enforcement at the West Hollywood scene. Radke said that person may have been in the SUV with the victim and was being questioned.

Radke said officers are still interviewing several witnesses.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
