Hilaria and Alex Baldwin secretly welcome baby No. 6

Best-kept secret ever?

A source confirms to Page Six that Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin have welcomed their sixth child together — just five months after the fitness guru gave birth to their son Eduardo.

Hilaria, 37, announced the news Monday with a picture on Instagram that showed her and the baby laying alongside 5-month-old son Eduardo, 2-year-old son Romeo Alejandro David, 4-year-old son Leonardo Ángel Charles, 5-year-old son Rafael Thomas and 7-year-old daughter Carmen Gabriela.

She captioned on the family snap “7” and included a red heart emoji. Alec, 62, is also dad to 25-year-old daughter Ireland, whom we’re told is the seventh child referenced in the pic.

The comments under Hilaria’s Instagram post have been turned off, but niece Hailey Baldwin liked the photo. Alec, whom Hilaria married in June 2012, has yet to post about the birth on social media.

A rep for Hilaria declined to comment.

The news of the Baldwin family’s latest addition comes after Hilaria suffered two miscarriages in 2019.

Earlier this year, Hilaria was involved in a scandal about her non-existent Spanish heritage, which caused her to take a brief break from social media.

After her return, she shared she had “spent the last month listening, reflecting, and asking myself how I can learn and grow,” adding that she and Alec were “raising our children to share the same love and respect for both [cultures]. Being vulnerable and pushing ourselves to learn and grow is what we’ve built our community on, and I hope to get back to the supportive and kind environment we’ve built together.”

Alec Baldwin shares a family portrait on Hilaria Baldwin’s 37th birthday.

In November, Hilaria told People she was content with having five children.

“I think, right now, I’m so tired. And I feel, just with COVID, it’s just insanity,” she said at the time. “Right now, during times of COVID, it very much feels like we’re done.”

Alec Baldwin hints Bruce Springsteen arrested because he’s a liberal

Alec Baldwin thinks Bruce Springsteen’s drunk driving arrest may have been motivated by the New Jersey rocker’s liberal politics.

‘I wonder if Springsteen’s arrest [sic] had anything to do with his politics,’ the 30 Rock actor speculated on his Twitter feed on Thursday.

Baldwin tweeted days after it was revealed that the rock icon was arrested last fall by a federal park ranger on suspicion of drunken driving in New Jersey.

The Boss, 71, was in the Gateway National Recreation Area on Sandy Hook on November 14 when he was arrested and charged for allegedly driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and drinking in a closed area.

Alec Baldwin (left), the actor who has starred in the sitcom 30 Rock as well as Saturday Night Live, suggested on Thursday that the arrest of rocker Bruce Sprinsteen (seen right with then-President Barack Obama in November 2016) may have been politically motivated

The incident reportedly unfolded after the Thunder Road singer pulled over on his motorbike to take a picture with fans and accepted a tequila shot from one of them in full view of watching police.

Springsteen took 45 steps instead of the requested 18 when he was arrested on suspicion of DWI, refused a breath test and ‘strongly smelt of alcohol’, according to a New Jersey police report.

The singer’s blood alcohol level was, however, reportedly well within the legal limit.

DailyMail.com has sought comment from the National Park Service in response to Baldwin’s claim.

Springsteen has been vocal about his support for the Democratic Party. He is seen above performing at President Joe Biden’s inauguration in front of the Lincoln Memorial on January 20

Over the years, Springsteen, like Baldwin, has not been shy about expressing his left-leaning political views.

Springsteen had performed on January 20 as part of President Joe Biden´s inauguration, singing Land of Hope and Dreams in front of the Lincoln Memorial.

Springsteen has also been a frequent critic of Biden’s predecessor, Donald Trump, calling him ‘a con man from Queens’ who has ‘hypnotized’ and ‘brainwashed’ his supporters with ‘jingoism’ and ‘paranoia.’

The Boss was also an avid supporter of Barack Obama and his presidency.

Springsteen has also made his views known on police brutality. In 2003, he released a song called American Skin (41 Shots), which was inspired by the fatal shooting by New York police of an unarmed black man, Amadou Diallo, in 1999.

Baldwin, who is also a prominent supporter of the Democratic Party, has had his own run-ins with the law.

In 1995, he was placed under citizen’s arrest in Los Angeles after punching a photographer in the nose.

At the time, Baldwin was trying to prevent the photographer from videotaping him and his then-wife, Kim Basinger, while they were bringing home their newborn daughter, Ireland, from hospital, according to the Los Angeles Times.

In 2018, the Saturday Night Live star was arrested and charged with assault by prosecutors in New York after he allegedly punched someone in a dispute over a parking spot. Baldwin denied the allegation.

The actor eventually pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment and agreed to attend a one-day anger management class.

In the days since it was learned of Springsteen’s arrest in November, more details have emerged about the events leading up to his being taken into custody.

Springsteen told a park officer he had done two shots in the previous 20 minutes but wouldn’t take a breath test before he was arrested, according to a document filed Thursday in federal court.

The officer at Gateway National Recreation Area wrote in the statement of probable cause that he saw Springsteen take a shot of tequila and then get on his motorcycle.

The officer wrote that the rocker ‘smelt strongly of alcohol’ on November 14 and ‘had glassy eyes’ and that there was a bottle of Patron tequila that was ‘completely empty.’

The report described Springsteen as ‘visibly swaying back and forth’ during a field sobriety test and said he declined to provide a sample on an initial breath test.

Springsteen ‘took 45 total steps during the walk and turn instead of the instructed 18,’ the officer wrote.

Springsteen hasn’t commented publicly on the charges. His lawyer and publicist didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment Thursday.

Springsteen received citations for driving while under the influence, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area. He is scheduled to make a remote court appearance on a date to be determined.

The recreational area is better known as Sandy Hook, the name of the narrow Atlantic Ocean peninsula on which it sits.

The arrest was first reported Wednesday by TMZ.com and was confirmed the same day by the National Park Service.

Alcohol has been banned entirely from Gateway National Recreation Area since 2019, and is prohibited from being brought onto its beaches, parking lots, park grounds, picnic areas and boating docks.

Officials with the National Park Service (NPS) first confirmed Springsteen’s arrest to DailyMail.com on Wednesday.

He was said to be ‘cooperative throughout the process’, NPS spokesperson Brenda Ling said.

Springsteen, who previously owned a home in Rumson, a few towns from Sandy Hook, has filmed several music videos and other projects at the federal park.

Springsteen, who previously owned a home in Rumson, a few towns from Sandy Hook, has filmed several music videos and other projects at the federal park, including the cover of 1987’s Tunnel of Love

For the cover of his 1987 album Tunnel of Love, Springsteen used the park’s beach as his backdrop. Gateway was also the setting for video of his solo track ‘Brilliant Disguise’, and featured in his 2014 short film, Hunter of Invisible Game.

It was not immediately clear why the Born in the USA singer’s arrest took almost three months to come to light but it did so just days after 96.4million viewers watched Springsteen star in an ad for Jeep during Sunday’s Super Bowl.

The much-hyped ad was the first time the rock veteran has appeared in a Super Bowl commercial. In the two-minute clip, titled The Middle, Springsteen urged unity in America.

‘It’s no secret the middle has been a hard place to get to lately, between red and blue, servant and citizen, freedom and fear,’ Springsteen intones, adding ‘we need the middle.’

‘Fear has never been the best of who we are,’ the Boss continues. ‘We just have to remember the very soil we stand on is common ground. So we can get there. We can make it to the mountaintop, through the desert . . . and we will cross this divide.’

The ad then ends with a dedication: ‘To the ReUnited States of America.’

The company has ‘paused’ the ad, meaning it now reads ‘Video unavailable’ ‘This video is private’ on YouTube.

The video has also been removed from Jeep’s Twitter but is still visible on Springsteen’s Instagram account.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, Jeep said: it ‘would be inappropriate for us to comment on the details of a matter we have only read about and we cannot substantiate.’

‘It’s also right that we pause our Big Game commercial until the actual facts can be established.’

‘Its message of community and unity is as relevant as ever. As is the message that drinking and driving can never be condoned.’

It is unclear whether Jeep were aware of Springsteen’s legal woes at the time of production.

However, CNN’s Springsteen source appeared to suggest Jeep’s actions to pull the ad were premature, telling the network: ‘I just hope Jeep ends up looking bad in the end.’

Springsteen has famously shunned appearances in commercials over the course of his decades-long career.

However, his longtime manager, Jon Landau, revealed the decision for him to take part in Jeep’s ad was entirely ‘spontaneous’ and came after years of the company courting him.

Landau told Rolling Stone the hit-maker also had a heavy hand in the commercial’s artistic direction, explaining its script was ‘substantially revised by Springsteen’, and that he also oversaw the ad’s final edit.

Pictured: Springsteen chugs back a fan’s half finished beer during a concert in Philadelphia, in 2012

‘He controlled every second of what you see and hear, and that’s why it feels so personal,’ Landau said.

Jeep has not disclosed what fee Springsteen was paid for his appearance in the ad, nor has the company shared how much the commercial cost to make.

However, it’s likely to have cost tens of millions of dollars, with a 30-second spot of airtime during this year’s Super Bowl costing around $5.5million. At that price, Jeep’s 120-second add would have cost around $22million.

Earlier this month, Springsteen also performed at President Joe Biden’s inauguration, giving a rendition of ‘Land of Hope and Dreams’ at the Lincoln Memorial.

Springsteen opened the evening’s Celebrating America event, which was hosted by Tom Hanks.

The Dancing in the Dark singer lives in New Jersey – close to where he grew up – with his wife, Patti Scialfa, whom he married in 1991.

Springsteen’s reps have not yet returned a DailyMail.com request for comment on his arrest.

Alec Baldwin suspects ‘politics’ at play in Springsteen DWI incident

Bruce Springsteen “smelt strongly of alcohol” and “had glassy eyes” when he was accused of driving drunk last year, according to a National Park Service ranger’s report.

But actor Alec Baldwin suspects the rocker known as “The Boss” may have been issued a summons for other reasons.

“I wonder if Springsteen’s arrest [sic] had anything to do with his politics,” Baldwin wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.

Baldwin cited no evidence for his suspicion – one of several celebrity reactions after the normally squeaky-clean Springsteen drew attention for his run-in with the law.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN DWI POTENTIALLY MORE SERIOUS BECAUSE ALLEGED OFFENSE OCCURRED AT A NATIONAL PARK: EXPERT

Like Baldwin, Springsteen has long been associated with liberal views and causes. But media reports of the star’s DWI matter – following a motorcycle trip to a national park in New Jersey in November – gave no indication that it was anything more than a case of a park ranger doing his job.

Other celebrity reactions suggested there was support for Springsteen getting off scot-free for his alleged transgression.

“They arrested Bruce Springsteen in New Jersey! This is Sacrilegious,” actor Michael Rapaport wrote. “Would you arrest the Pope in Italy? Free The Boss!”

WARNING: PROFANITY

“Totally unbelievable,” Springsteen’s E Street bandmate, Stevie Van Zandt wrote.

Former federal prosecutor Preet Bharara suggested he would not be able to remain impartial if he were involved in the case.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN CALLS FOR UNITY IN 2021 SUPER BOWL AD AFTER PREVIOUS CRITICISM OF DONALD TRUMP

“Yes I am aware of the Springsteen DWI issue,” Bharara wrote, adding later, “I’m of course recused.”

Springsteen, 71, was cited last Nov. 14 at the Gateway National Recreation Area at Sandy Hook, N.J., for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area, according to the National Park Service, the Asbury Park Press reported.

An NPS ranger identified as R.L. Hayes reported seeing Springsteen take a shot of tequila and then get on what was described as a red and silver Triumph motorcycle and start the engine, according to the newspaper.

TOMMY DE SENO: YO, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, LET THIS ASBURY PARK FAN TELL YOU WHERE YOU WENT WRONG

Springsteen had stopped to pose for photos with fans when he was offered the shot of booze, the report said.

The ranger informed Springsteen that alcohol was prohibited in the park, and the rocker said he had consumed two shots in the 20 minutes prior to his arrest.

The park service said Springsteen was “cooperative throughout the process” after he was pulled over – though he initially refused to take a breath test, the Press reported.

A source later told the newspaper that Springsteen’s blood-alcohol reading came back below the level that’s considered illegal.

Springsteen is expected to make a virtual court appearance in connection with the case but no date has yet been set, The Associated Press reported.

News of Springsteen’s DWI incident surfaced nearly three months after it occurred. In the intervening weeks, Springsteen performed outside the Lincoln Memorial on Jan. 20 following President Joe Biden’s inauguration and appeared in a pre-recorded TV commercial for Jeep that aired during the CBS broadcast of the Super Bowl on Feb. 7.

Jeep deleted the ad from YouTube after news of Springsteen’s DWI charge.

Amy Schumer explains her part in Hilaria Baldwin controversy

It may feel like ages ago in the current news cycle but it was actually just last month. And in case you forgot, it sort of all started with comedian Amy Schumer poking fun at Baldwin posing in lingerie with her baby.

Now Schumer is speaking out about the story that consumed the internet.

“I feel like it was so insane and entertaining that I think Hilaria is probably the only person who is happy about the insurrection in the Capitol, because it distracted [people] from that,” Schumer told “Entertainment Tonight” before adding, “She is amazing and I wish her and her family the best. I hope she gets to visit Spain as much as she wants.”
Baldwin took issue with Schumer and others for mocking her for being proud of her post baby body. The former ballroom dancer and wife of Alec Baldwin welcomed her fifth child in September and shortly after posted a photo wearing lingerie while holding her baby boy.

Schumer re-posted the image on her Instagram account with a cheeky caption. But Baldwin didn’t see humor in Schumer’s post and took to her own Instagram page with a video message calling out Schumer and body shamers. It was then that commenters began noticing that Baldwin’s usual Spanish accent was noticeably absent.

That’s when her heritage began to be called into question, with people pointing out that she grew up in Boston, despite multiple online biographies citing she was born and raised in Spain. Although her family does live on the Spanish island of Mallorca now, they are from America. Videos from Baldwin’s television appearances began to circulate, one from the “Today Show” in which Baldwin forgets the English word for cucumber, and even her husband saying on a late night appearance that she hailed from Spain.

It was then Schumer poked fun at Baldwin again on Instagram in a since deleted post.

“I just felt like everybody else watching it. Just like, ‘What is going on?’ I thought we were still kinda playing, so I wrote, ‘Hey, look, I love Spain too.’ But then it became this whole big thing and people were really upset so I just took it down [too],” Schumer explained.

“Look, she’s a mom. She has a million and a half kids, and that’s really hard,” Schumer added. “So I just, I don’t want them to be going through a bad time. But also, you can’t just pretend you’re from Spain.”

In an interview with The New York Times, Baldwin says she has never claimed she was from Spain and that she has spent so much time overseas throughout her life that it’s only natural she has developed an accent.

Since the controversy Baldwin has laid low and has not posted on her Instagram page since late December.
