Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan finally heaved a sigh of relief after son Aryan Khan was granted bail in the drugs case. While the celebrity couple avoided any public appearances during this time, it was Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani who regularly attending all court hearings. She accompanied the lawyers at ever hearing involving Aryan Khan.

And soon after Aryan was granted bail, Pooja penned a note of gratitude on social media. She had shared on Instagram, “There is a God…. thank you everyone for your love and prayers. Truth prevails.” Soon after the news broke, Aryan Khan’s legal team visited Shah Rukh Khan and the superstar was seen smiling after a really long time. “Aryan Shah Rukh Khan has ultimately been released on bail by the HC. No possession, No Evidence, No Consumption, No Conspiracy, Right from the First Moment when he was detained on 2nd Oct 2021 …. Nor is there anything as of now,” Aryan’s legal team had shared in a statement.

Aryan Khan and seven others were arrested on October 3 after drugs were seized by the Narcotics Control Bureau on a cruise party that he was attending. He was lodged at the Arthur Road jail and SRK had sent Rs 4500 for Aryan’s canteen expenses at the prison. On October 21, SRK had visited Aryan Khan in jail. Aryan was represented by Mukul Rohatgi in the HD, who had flown down from London for the hearing. A detailed order assigning reasons will be pronounced today. Once the order copy is out, Aryan Khan’s legal team will complete the formalities for his release.

Bombay High court granted bail to Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha on October 28 after they were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a cruise drug bust case.

No sooner did the court grant bail to Aryan and Arbaaz, their friends took to their social media handles to share their pictures as they celebrated their victory. Ananya Panday’s cousin Ahaan shared some unseen throwback pictures of the duo.

In the pictures, we can see three stages of Aryan and Arbaaz’s friendship, right from their childhood days to school days to the more recent ones. While in one picture, Aryan is seen dressed in a school uniform with a bag on his back, in another, Arbaaz was seated in the passenger seat of the car with Ahaan. The last one appears to be a recent one featuring Ahaan and Arbaaz posing for the camera.

Ahaan is often seen hanging out and partying with Aryan, Suhana, Ananya and other star kids.

Aryan, along with Arbaaz and Munmun, was arrested on October 3 by the NCB after they busted an alleged rave party in a Goa-bound luxury cruise. After initial few days in the NCB custody, Aryan was sent to Arthur Road Jail.

Ever since his arrest, fans of Shah Rukh Khan have been gathering outside his residence Mannat in solidarity. Celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Hansal Mehta, Sanjay Gupta and others openly supported the superstar during this phase.

On Thursday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) visited Chunky Panday’s house. Three NCB officials, including a female officer, served a summons to Ananya Panday. The actress was asked to appear before the NCB at their office on the same day at 2 pm for further questioning. Meanwhile, another NCB team visited Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai residence, Mannat. The search operation followed right after the central agency submitted chat messages of Aryan Khan with an “upcoming Bollywood actress” to a Mumbai court, and claimed that both were discussing drugs. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested in connection to drugs seized on a cruise by the Narcotics Control Bureau earlier this month. It’s been a few weeks since he was arrested along with several others. On October 20, the special NDPS court rejected Aryan Khan’s bail plea following which he reached High Court to file a bail application. On October 21, Shah Rukh Khan made his first visit to Arthur Road Jail to visit his son.

The superstar and his wife Gauri Khan had spoken on a video call with Aryan Khan, last week. The 23-year-old has been in contact with SRK’s manager, Pooja Dadlani, and the legal team during the court proceedings. On Thursday morning, SRK visit his son for the first time since his arrest on October 3.

According to NDTV, the Maharashtra government, a day ago, “eased jail visit rules amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier, no outsider was allowed to meet inmates in jail. The rules now say two family members can meet an inmate.”

According to reports in India Today, the NCB has received chats between an upcoming actress and Aryan Khan. The two were allegedly discussing drugs during the Mumbai cruise party on October 2 after which the NCB conducted a raid on the ship. The NCB had handed over the chat evidence to the court during the previous hearing held on October 14. The agency has also handed over Aryan’s chats with some drug peddlers to the court.

NCB had seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD (mephedrone), 21 grams of charas (small quantity), 22 pills of MDMA (ecstasy) (intermediate quantity), and Rs 1,33,000 at International Cruise Terminal, Mumbai. However, they had said in the court that no drugs were found on Aryan Khan but they discovered a small quantity of contrabands on the co-accused.

Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s arrest in a drug case shocked everyone across the country. His bail plea was rejected by the Mumbai Sessions court yet again on Wednesday. His lawyers will now move to the Bombay High court to seek bail. The latest reports suggest that Aryan was set to go to the US for a road trip.

According to India Today, the star kid, who has kept his friend circle and social life quite low-key, was set to go for a road trip to the US with his friends in November. It’s anyone’s guess that the plans for the trip will definitely not materialize now. The report also suggests that his friends from the US and UK are keeping a close tab on the case. His close friends have been in touch with his mother Gauri Khan and sister Suhana. Most of Aryan’s friends are from the US and UK as he completed his studies there.

Meanwhile, Aryan’s bail was rejected by the court on the basis of WhatsApp chats that were recovered from his phone. The NCB has alleged that these chats establish his nexus with suppliers and peddlers. The NDPS court said, “Prima facie material showing that Khan was in contact with persons dealing in prohibited narcotic substances as alleged by prosecution.”

Recent reports suggest that Aryan’s lawyer will be reaching the high court today around 10: 30 am. The appeal is likely to be mentioned before a single bench of Justice N W Sambre.

Aryan was nabbed by the NCB along with seven others on October 2. The agency raided a cruise ship in Mumbai and busted a drug party.

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan is currently in judicial custody after he was arrested by the NCB on October 3. The agency raided a cruise in Mumbai and busted a drug party. The star kid was arrested along with seven others. Soon after the news of his arrest broke, netizens and celebs from the industry expressed their opinions on the same. Recently, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi too reacted to the ongoing case.

On Sunday, he spoke about the controversy without taking any names. He said that he will speak for those ‘voiceless Muslims’ who are lodged in jails and not for those whose fathers are ‘powerful’.

While addressing a rally in Ghaziabad, Asaduddin Owaisi was asked about Aryan’s arrest. He said, “You are talking about a superstar’s son. At least 27 percent of undertrial prisoners in UP jails are Muslims. Who will speak for them? I will fight for those who are voiceless and weak, not for those whose fathers are powerful.”

Meanwhile, the Mumbai sessions court reserved Aryan’s bail order for October 20. Reports suggest that the jail authorities have increased Aryan’s security. It is being said that he has been moved to a special barrack and is being monitored by the officials. He is facing difficulties adapting to the jail conditions and the prison food that has left the authorities worried about his health and hygiene.

After his bail order was reserved, SRK and Gauri sent him a money order of Rs. 4500 for his expenses in jail as home-cooked food is not allowed to be taken. He also spoke to his parents through video call as the family cannot go and meet due to the Covid-19 situation.

Shah Rukh Khan has last minute called off the shoot of his advertisement with Ajay Devgn. A source from the shoot has revealed exclusively to ETimes that all prep had been made for the superstar’s presence but he did not turn up.

“Around 20-25 bouncers have been stationed on the sets of Shah Rukh Khan and his vanity van has also been at the studio since morning. But it was only around 3-4pm that the superstar called off the shoot. He was scheduled to share the frame with Ajay Devgn, but decided to cancel the professional commitment, possibly because of the troubled time he is facing in his personal life. The mobile phones of Aryan Khan and the other accused have been sent for forensic examination to a laboratory in Gandhi Nagar, states a report on India Today. This comes after the NCB claimed before the city court that “shocking and incriminating” evidence was recovered in the WhatsApp chats of the accused that showed links to international drug trafficking.

In recent reports, the narcotics agency even claimed that Aryan discussed modes of payment for procurement of drugs and that they used several ‘code names’.

Reports further state that Khan has been provided with science books that he had requested.

According to the developments on the case, 6 more people, including four from the Delhi event management company Namas’cray Experience Pvt Ltd have been taken into custody by the NCB. The total number of arrests in the case has now gone up to 16.

In a statement to ANI, NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede said, “Today we arrested four more people. They had organised this party. The NCB will seek their custody from the court… A total of 16 arrests have been made, the probe is still on.”

Slamming the ‘witch hunt’ against Bollywood stars, Sussanne took to the comment section of a journalist who claimed that Aryan’s arrest should be a ‘wake up call for parents’ and declared her support for SRK-Gauri.

Calling the situation sad and unfair for the ‘good kid’, she wrote, “I think this is not about Aryan Khan, as he was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time, this situation is being made an example to drive home the excitement that some people get as they have a witch hunt on people from Bollywood. It’s sad n unfair as he is a good kid. I stand by Gauri n Shahrukh.”

Previously, Salman Khan and later his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri were spotted paying a visit to the Khan family at their bungalow during their difficult time. Apart from them, it was also Sanjay Kapoor’s wife Maheep and Sohail Khan’s wife Seema who were snapped visiting SRK at Mannat.

Aryan Khan, along with actor Arbaaz Merchantt and Munmun Dhamecha were produced for their second remand hearing in the cruise ship drug raid case. They will remain under NCB custody till October 7.

Earlier, on Saturday evening, NCB officials raided a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai and detained eight people for investigation. This included SRK’s son Aryan Khan. The next day, Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun were arrested by the NCB and produced before a holiday court in Mumbai. The court sent all three to NCB remand for a day. The other five accused in the case – Nupur Satija, Ishmeet Singh Chadha, Mohak Jaiswal, Gomit Chopra and Vikrant Chhokar – were also arrested later on Sunday.
