Clash of Clans Update – Town Hall 15 additions, Release Date, time, and more updates on October 2022 Update: Supercell announced the much-awaited Town Hall addition for Clash of Clans a few days back. As per the latest estimations, the next update is set to roll out in the next few days. However, the release date is not official yet. Meanwhile, the devs have also revealed some unique features and stats for the upcoming Town Hall, including new defenses. Besides these inclusions, Supercell has also released a brand new teaser, including four special companions for the heroes in Clash of Clans. Clash of Clans Update
As mentioned earlier, Supercell hasn’t confirmed a specific release date for the in-game launch of Town Hall 15, however, one can expect it to arrive alongside the October update. The arrival of the new Town Hall level is happening more than a year later, as the developers launched Town Hall 14 in April 2022. On the other hand, the October 2022 update is expected to be released in the first half of the month, most probably around Monday, October 10.

Town Hall 15 additions and more updates
The new Town Hall addition in Clash of Clans will feature an upgrade cost of 18 million Gold, which will take 15 days to complete. When it comes to capacities, at the base level, Town Hall 15 will be able to hold two million Gold, two million Elixir, and 20K Dark Elixir, with an HP of 9600. Players will be able to upgrade these storages alongside various other buildings.
Meanwhile, TH 15 will not have a unique signature defensive weapon. Supercell has revealed that the new Clash of Clans Town Hall addition will borrow Giga Inferno from previous TH levels – 13 and 14. The Giga Inferno, however, will be upgradable several times to make TH 15 even more powerful.
Furthermore, Supercell also revealed two new defenses in Town Hall 15 – Spell Tower and Monolith. The former will allow players to select between three spells to defend the base, while the latter will be a single target base defense. Here are the three spells of Spell Tower.
- Rage Spell – It will boost nearby defenses and units – At Level 1 with an upgrade cost and time of 14 million and 14 days, alongside 2500 HP.
- Poison Spell – It will spew poison onto the enemies – At Level 2 with an upgrade cost and time of 16 million and 16 days, alongside 2800 HP.
- Invisibility Spell – It will temporarily conceal defense, units, and buildings – At Level 3 with an upgrade cost and time of 18 million and 18 days, alongside 3100 HP.

In a ‘bold, ambitious step,’ Big Ten grows to 16 with additions of USC, UCLA | Football
USC and UCLA are officially set to join the Big Ten Conference beginning with the 2024-25 season, marking perhaps the largest seismic and historic shift yet amid the ever-changing landscape of college athletics.
The shocking news played out publicly across roughly seven hours Thursday as the two flagship Pac-12 Conference schools went from being reportedly interested in changing leagues to each school and league officially acknowledging their future destinations by the end of business hours on the West Coast.

The Big Ten’s Council of Presidents and Chancellors voted unanimously to accept the application of membership from each school Thursday evening. And while the news sent shockwaves through college sports, national reports indicated — and the Big Ten confirmed — the move had been in the works behind the scenes for weeks.
One source told The Athletic that each school was asked two weeks ago to conduct a feasibility study about adding USC and UCLA.
The feedback, evidently, was positive.

Now the Big Ten joins the SEC as a 16-team league, only with a truly national footprint from Jersey Shore to Malibu Beach. The Los Angeles-based schools will bring along every sport that the Big Ten fields when they become full members Aug. 2, 2024.
“Ultimately, the Big Ten is the best home for USC and Trojan athletics as we move into the new world of collegiate sports,” USC athletic director Mike Bohn said in a release. “We are excited that our values align with the league’s member institutions.”
USC and UCLA reportedly approached the Big Ten with a desire to join and become the league’s first new schools since it added Rutgers and Maryland in 2014 and Nebraska in 2011 during the early stages of conference realignment. The move is also viewed as a response to the SEC landing Texas and Oklahoma out of the Big 12 Conference last summer and yet another step closer to the SEC and Big Ten separating themselves financially and in total membership from everyone else, including their other Power Five peers.
The additions are also likely why the Big Ten had yet to announce its plan to keep or do away with football divisions while other leagues including the Pac-12 and ACC have already scrapped them.

Meanwhile, the conference remains in the midst of negotiating its television rights deal with Fox and others, with previous estimates that it will net north of $1 billion in its next round of contracts. That figure is guaranteed to now rise further with the addition of another major media market in Los Angeles and two brand-name universities. Apple has already reached out asking to reengage in negotiations, according to a report from Sports Business Journal.
Such financial stability will be a boon for the newcomers. The LA Times in January reported that UCLA’s Athletic Department absorbed a loss of $62.5 million for the 2021 fiscal year.
“Although this move increases travel distances for teams, the resources offered by Big Ten membership may allow for more efficient transportation options,” UCLA Chancellor Gene Block and athletic director Martin Jarmond said in a statement.
The transition could in theory be relatively smooth for USC and UCLA because their grant of rights are linked to the current Pac-12 TV deal, which expires after the 2023-24 school year.
Multiple reports also indicated Big Ten expansion may not be over. Would remaining Pac-12 members like Washington and Oregon also be possibilities to change leagues? What about other holdovers in that conference like Stanford?
Notre Dame — a longtime siren of the Big Ten — may be more in play once again to join a conference in football. The Irish and their contract with NBC runs through at least 2025 on a deal reportedly worth $15 million annually. Should NBC be part of the Big Ten’s new-look media rights deal moving forward, it could potentially help bridge the longtime distance between the league and school.
“It’s really unsustainable to be an independent now,” a source told ESPN.

The two Pac-12 additions on their own are watershed moments in the 126-year history of the Big Ten, originally known as the Western Intercollegiate Conference, and send ripple effects throughout the league.
For Nebraska, the decision moves it from the western frontier of the conference to the geographic center. Husker administrators released a statement Thursday evening welcoming the Bruins and Trojans.
“This is an exciting and historic day for the Big Ten Conference and the University of Nebraska,” Chancellor Ronnie Green and athletic director Trev Alberts said in a joint statement. “The addition of UCLA and USC to the Big Ten is a bold, ambitious step during a time of historic change in the collegiate athletics landscape. These institutions will add two world-class athletic departments and brands to the Big Ten and stretch the Conference footprint from coast to coast.”
The statement also cited NU’s large base of alumni in California that can watch games and its history of recruiting success in the state.
“For the University of Nebraska, there are many positives associated with this expansion,” the statement said. “UNL has a large alumni base in California that will have a great opportunity to regularly watch our teams compete in historical athletic venues in Southern California. Nebraska has had a history of success recruiting athletes from California, and this will only enhance Nebraska’s profile in a fertile recruiting ground. We welcome UCLA and USC to the Big Ten Conference and look forward to competing with them in the future.”
The next move for the Pac-12 remains unclear. It could seek to add current or future Big 12 members including BYU or attempt to stand pat. The conference had been part of a so-called “Alliance” with the Big Ten and ACC for the last year.
That partnership, for all intents and purposes, now ceases to exist.
Said the Pac-12: “While we are extremely surprised and disappointed by the news coming out of UCLA and USC today, we have a long and storied history in athletics, academics, and leadership in supporting student-athletes that we’re confident will continue to thrive and grow into the future.”

EA and Codemasters announce F1 22 release date and brand-new game additions – including F1 Life
Codemasters and Electronic Arts have announced the release date for the brand-new official Formula 1 game – F1 22 – which is also available to pre-order now.
F1 22 will be released worldwide on July 1, and include the new Miami circuit plus layout changes to the likes of Australia and Abu Dhabi, F1 Sprint events and the new era of Formula 1 cars with overhauled rules.
It will also include PC VR functionality via Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

Animal Crossing New Horizons 2.0 update: The best new additions
Surprise! Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ massive 2.0 update got an early release on Wednesday evening. Originally scheduled to be released on Friday, Nov. 5, the New Horizons update went up about a day early on Nintendo Switch.
Now, fans are scrambling to unearth all the treasures hidden within it, and boy, have they struck gold. While there were plenty of known additions — like the arrival of Brewster’s cafe and the return of familiar faces like Kapp’n — fans have already found even more exciting new features.
The update is a veritable treasure trove of new details waiting to be discovered, and fans have posted plenty of screenshots showing off what’s excited them so far. That has included everything from wacky new items (including an entire volcano you can add to your island) to the new first-person camera. We’re also seeing the addition of characters who weren’t announced at the New Horizons Direct in October, like Isabelle’s brother, Digby. Here’s everything we’ve seen fans chattering about online as people start to dive into the update.
A new first-person camera with fisheye lens
The New Horizons 2.0 update has added a suite of new features to your phone’s camera. Now, players can take first-person photos and add on filters. It not only brings a fresh perspective, but it has also allowed people to take cute and goofy photos of their villagers using the new camera’s fisheye lens.
Gyroids
The wiggly, wobbly statues of the Animal Crossing world are back in a big way. The update has added loads of Gyroids, all with their own unique attributes. Here are a few especially cute and weird ones that people have posted about.
Even more familiar faces have come back
Animal Crossing favorites who weren’t previously available in New Horizons have made a surprise return. Now you can play with Digby, Isabelle’s brother, as well as the entirety of Kapp’n’s family. Oh, and Resetti finally made his big return. The gang is all here!
New decorative items, including a volcano and a CPR dummy
One Animal Crossing fan account posted that by their estimate there were over 3,000 items added to the game. Fans have been picking out some of the items that stand out to them, including an entire volcano (don’t worry, it’s dormant) as well as a CPR dummy. One lucky fan also encountered the gamer setup as well, which includes a reference to the chatting app Discord.
Introducing: The bear plush backpack, plus other cute accessories
New items also mean new ways to accessorize and dress up villagers. There are plenty of new trendy items, and a lot of people have already pointed out one item of note: a plush bear backpack. That backpack comes in addition to plenty of other cute pastel bags that fans are excited about.
The update has been out for less than a day now, and fans have already pointed out plenty of new additions. Beyond that, players have also been excited about new quality-of-life features, as well as a recipe that will finally allow you to use all the sea bass. For now, the Animal Crossing world is the fans’ oyster!
QB Aaron Rodgers loving Packers veteran additions
“I love it. I really do.”
Aaron Rodgers spoke from the heart during Tuesday’s press conference while discussing the team’s recent veteran additions. In the last year, the Green Bay Packers have acquired five veteran players who have played significant roles during the first seven games of the 2021 season.
“You love when you can plug in veteran players who can play football at a high level in those spots,” Rodgers added.
Of course, the guys Rodgers is referring to are De’Vondre Campbell, Randall Cobb, Jaylon Smith, Rasul Douglas and Whitney Mercilus.
Campbell and Cobb have been with the team since the start of the regular season, while Smith, Douglas and Mercilus were all signed within the last few weeks. However, all five seem to be adjusting nicely to their new roles on a team with Super Bowl aspirations.
“I love the energy with these guys,” said Rodgers.
No one has brought more energy than Campbell, who Rodgers has continued to praise in recent weeks. Rodgers couldn’t believe the Packers were able to land the savvy linebacker when they did. Campbell was an afterthought for most NFL teams until Green Bay signed him to a one-year deal in June. Now, he is the team’s leading tackler and the highest graded linebacker by Pro Football Focus.
Smith was added after he was released by the Dallas Cowboys. He’s played 27 snaps at linebacker over the last two games.
Douglas was signed off the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad on October 6. He played a bulk of the snaps during the Packers’ Week 6 win over the Chicago Bears. Last week, Douglas started the game at corner and finished the game after leaving for a brief period with a shoulder injury. His toughness has been a welcomed addition in the absence of Jaire Alexander and Kevin King.
Meanwhile, Green Bay’s edge position was growing thin before the team signed Mercilus following his release from the Houston Texans only a week ago. With Preston Smith dealing with an injured oblique and Za’Darius Smith still on injured reserve, the Packers needed a veteran to sure up their edge rushers. Mercilus has totaled 57 sacks during his 10 NFL seasons and went on to provide a nice boost to the team’s pass rush in Week 7. Even though he did not have a sack against the Washington Football Team, Mercilus did create four pressures in 31 snaps.
Finally, there is Cobb. The 31-year-old receiver hasn’t done much in Matt LaFleur’s offense, but his value to the team is immeasurable. Without Cobb, Rodgers may not even be in Green Bay. The two built a strong connection during their first eight seasons with the Packers, and Rodgers expressed a strong belief that the offense would benefit from a true slot receiver.
Through the first seven games, Cobb has 14 receptions for 179 yards and two touchdowns. These numbers pale in comparison to his career totals, but that is the price you pay when you’re an aging receiver with a long list of injuries.
However, no one is happier to have Cobb back in the mix than Rodgers, and no one is happier to be back where it all started than the receiver himself.
With Green Bay starting to get healthier and key guys returning to practice, having veterans they can lean on will help this team be more resilient and continue to rack up wins. The Packers probably aren’t sitting at 6-1 if not for their impactful veteran additions.

It was only six months earlier that his ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell gave birth to their daughter Powerful Queen, while they share a son named Golden, four.
