Kourtney Kardashian Has the Best Reaction to Boyfriend Travis Barker’s Latest Post

Kourtney Kardashian is impressed by boyfriend Travis Barker‘s early musical endeavor.

On Jan. 31, Travis—the drummer for Blink-182 and the former star of reality series Meet the Barkers—took to Instagram to share a throwback video of himself playing with his former band. “My first punk band FEEBLE,” the artist wrote in the caption, which showed the group playing on a much smaller stage than Travis is now used to performing on.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared her reaction in the comments, writing just “wow” in response to the fun throwback.

This is just one example of how the just-confirmed couple is making their romance known on social media. Earlier this month, fans noticed that Travis had taken to commenting flower emojis on multiple of Kourtney’s Instagram pics. Kourtney also shared photos from the movie True Romance, one of Travis’ favorite films, to which he commented, “You’re So Cool.”

While fans may be fascinated by how these two went from neighbors in the California community of Calabasas to dating, a source told E! News that the relationship is very “low-key.”

“They are a really good match, and Kourtney’s entire family already loves Travis,” the insider shared. “They have been neighbors and great friends for years, and it just recently turned romantic.”

The source added that while the two aren’t putting any “pressure” on the relationship, “the chemistry and flirtation has always been there.”

“They have a lot in common, and Kourtney has always been attracted to how Travis is as a parent,” the insider continued “He’s an amazing, hands-on dad, and Kourtney loves that about him.”

Tiffany Haddish Posts TikTok Silhouette Challenge Video

As we grow nearer to the one-year anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, we didn’t anticipate the nation’s populace would cycle back to that memorable hallmark of early quarantine: being extremely horny online 24/7. (More so than usual, we mean.) But between the recent #BussItChallenge and the even more recent #SilhouetteChallenge, TikTok continues to hold a mirror up to society, and society can’t help but notice how good they look right now.

To wit, on Sunday Tiffany Haddish threw her hat (as well as the rest of her clothes and, at one point, her wig) in the ring for her take on the app’s extremely sexy Silhouette Challenge, which features Paul Anka’s “Put Your Head On My Shoulder,” Doja Cat’s “Streets,” and, in Tiffany’s case, a cameo from her reported boyfriend Common. “For the Lovers,” the actress and comedian captioned her video, though, like every TikTok challenge until we can all once again be horny IRL, this one’s for everybody.

Ja Rule Says Trump is Allowed on His App Iconn After Twitter Banned Him

While Donald Trump is banned from Twitter, it appears that he’s welcome on Ja Rule’s new app, Iconn.

However, Ja has laid down some guidelines for his celebrity booking app—namely, the Proud Boys are not permitted to join, TMZ reports. In addition to being banned from Twitter for inciting the U.S. Capitol riot, Trump has been restricted from using Twitch, Shopify, Snapchat, and a number of other platforms.

Ja said Trump can freely create an account on Iconn only if he doesn’t push his supporters to act out: “It’s freedom for everybody,” Ja told TMZ. “But I suppose if he started doing crazy things like trying to rile up his base and get the proud boys going on Iconn, then he got to go. Any funny shit out of you Donnie and you gotta go.”

The rapper continued, “[Jack Dorsey] said it best when he [banned] Trump. He said that he believes that it’s the right thing to do but he also believes this is a slippery slope. And that’s exactly what I felt about it—the decision that was made. I really do believe it was the right decision because the rhetoric and the things he was tweeting … they rushed the goddamn Capitol for christ’s sake. Something had to be done.” Ja added, “So Trump, come on over to Iconn and get yourself a page. But you better behave.”

Meghan Markle says Palace is behind change to Archie’s birth certificate

Meghan Markle is setting the record straight in regard to changes made to son Archie’s birth certificate.

In a statement Sunday to Page Six, a spokesperson for the Duchess of Sussex, 39, said the omission of her given name, “Rachel Meghan,” to Archie’s birth papers was a call made by The Palace.

“The change of name on public documents in 2019 was dictated by The Palace, as confirmed by documents from senior Palace officials. This was not requested by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex nor by The Duke of Sussex,” the statement read.

Over the weekend, an updated piece of Archie’s birth certificate surfaced online, with The UK’s The Sun highlighting the changes made to Markle’s name. She’s now listed as, “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex,” while Harry, 36, is regarded as, “His Royal Highness Prince Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex.”

The changes were made in June 2019, a month after the birth of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

A spokesperson for Markle also slammed speculation the edits were a dig at sister-in-law Kate Middleton, who shares three young children with Harry’s older brother, Prince William.

The Sussexes, who have been married since 2018, stepped down as “senior” royals last January. They currently reside in California.

Why Do Celebrities Put Emojis Over Their Kids’ Faces? It’s Complicated

If you — like me — are obsessed with celebrity culture, and therefore follow a lot of famous people on Instagram, your feed on any given day might include: Mindy Kaling dancing with a can of Campbell’s soup, Blake Lively wearing heels that look like they were drawn on using Microsoft Paint, and Reese Witherspoon trying desperately to make a meme challenge (starring herself!) happen. Among all this odd online behavior, though, there is one phenomenon that stands out to me as being supremely weird, and it comes courtesy of famous parents: covering a child’s face with an emoji. You know you’ve seen it: Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik used an emoji of the Hulk to block out their infant’s face on Halloween; Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard put rainbows on their daughters’ faces when posting vacation pics; Ashley Graham placed a heart over her baby’s face in a video collage recapping his first 12 months of life; Jenny Mollen, bestselling author and wife of actor Jason Biggs, is partial to the “lit” emoji for pics of her kids horsing around at home. Danielle Fishel does it, Michelle Buteau does it, and Elsa Pataky does it. As do, Orlando Bloom, Jenna Dewan, and Chris Pratt. (The list goes on, but I’ll stop there.) What makes this phenomenon so interesting is that many of the celebrities who use emojis to, it would seem, put up a privacy barrier around their kids, are also the kind who share seemingly every other aspect of their lives with their fans and followers. Bell, for example, has built her whole personal brand on relatability — and that includes how she presents her life as a parent. She regularly goes on talk shows and podcasts to discuss the funny antics her kids have been up to, and she posts detailed accounts about how hard she works on her marriage. But showing her kids’ faces is one line she will not cross. When she puts a photo of her children on social media, she always covers their faces with an emoji. When someone already shares so much of their lives and their kids’ lives with the world, why exactly is their child’s face where they choose to set a limit? View this post on Instagram A post shared by kristen bell (@kristenanniebell) According to Leah Plunkett, an expert in digital privacy law and author of Sharenthood: Why We Should Think Before We Talk about Our Kids Online, hiding your kid’s face in social media posts does provide some specific privacy benefits. She explains that when it comes to who will learn information from a picture you share, there are two big categories. “The first is what other people — as in human beings and not algorithms or robots — can learn from the picture,” she says. “The second is what data can be extracted, used, and repurposed by various forms of machine learning or artificial intelligence, et cetera.” Obscuring a face in an image can limit the information actual people can glean from that image, but it’s still unclear how much it protects against institutions, such as social media companies and third parties that receive data from those social media companies, getting info from the image. “It would certainly guard against the kind of scenario that The New York Times wrote about in fall of 2019, where it came out down the road that photos that parents had posted of kids online in the early 2000s were taken and used to train what The Times called ‘bleeding-edge surveillance technology,’” Plunkett explains. “Obviously, if you don’t have a face, the image can’t be used for that, but would it still be possible to learn things from the photo like location or the kind of clothing worn or depending on the photo, race or ethnicity or gender? Yeah, it probably still would be.” Because of all that, this tactic is not a foolproof solution for containing information, but for parents — and maybe especially celebrity parents — some coverage is better than none, especially if they just can’t stop themselves from posting photos online. While Plunkett confirms it’s safer just not to share photos of your children on social media at all, she does understand that the impulse to do so might overrule some security fears. “I think the motivation is to try to engage in a level of ‘sharenting’ that is focused on you sharing about your life, of which children are a huge part for most parents, certainly for me, without giving away information about your children that, in some sense, is not yours to give,” Plunkett explains. “It’s like, here’s what’s going on in my life of which my children are a big part, but literally and metaphorically, I’m not going to give you a window into their lives.” So, for celebrities who are used to — and love — sharing their lives on social media, it’s not really an option not to post images of their kids. Instead, it’s about controlling the way they do so. In the age of social media, celebrities both do and don’t have authority over their images. On the one hand, they have a direct line to their fans via platforms like Instagram, where they can mold and manipulate their personas — providing they at least give the veneer of authenticity. On the other, they still have to fend off paparazzi, who are more zealous than ever in their hunt for candid celeb photos, which are then proliferated across the internet. Many stars have even found themselves in lawsuits for posting paparazzi photos of themselves without giving proper credit or payment to those who shot them. But while famous people don’t have control of paparazzi images of themselves or their kids, they do have control over their own shots, and they can use those to cultivate their own brands. Like with everything we post online, posting photos of our children, whether their faces are visible or not, is a way for parents — famous or not — to convey a certain message about themselves and their lives. It’s also a great way to generate engagement. Plunkett remembers when she was running for state office over the summer and posted a photo of herself filling out forms to get on the ballot. In the picture, her daughter can be seen, though her face is not visible. “I thought about whether or not to share this photo because, on the one hand, I really am a very minimalist or nonexistent ‘sharent.’ On the other hand, part of why I was running for office was because I think that there should be a working mom of young kids in this position,” Plunkett explains. “This was a moment that was private in that it happened in my house, but it’s also public because, in a non-COVID world, I would have had to go to the State House in New Hampshire and fill this out in front of anyone else who happened to be there. Also, I wanted to convey to people who were getting to know me and getting to know the campaign, this is what it looks like to do this with a small child hanging on you.” Ultimately, Plunkett decided to post the photo because her daughter was indistinguishable from any other brown-haired, small person — the image was particularly well-received by people in the community. No matter whether you’re a celebrity, an influencer, or just a normie parent, sharing photos of your kids almost guarantees more likes. Pictures that give unique insight into your life — or at least the illusion of insight into your life — perform better on social media. Anyone who has ever reluctantly posted a selfie only to receive infinitely more attention for it than any sunset or sandwich photo you’ve previously posted knows this to be true. For people who use their platforms professionally and are constantly thinking about engagement so they can get sponcon partnerships or just strengthen their personal brands, it makes sense that they would want to share photos that are undeniably cute, even if they don’t reveal their kids’ faces. View this post on Instagram A post shared by A S H L E Y G R A H A M (@ashleygraham) But maybe the strangest aspect of the emoji-face-covering is that, well, they feel really disruptive when used on accounts where aesthetics are a huge focus — I, for one, find it so aesthetically unpleasing that I know I can’t be alone. Maybe if you’re a regular person, the presence of errant emoji in the middle of a family portrait might not stick out among all the other poorly lit photos of your week’s meal prep haul or the numerous snaps of your cat that make up your grid. But on a celeb’s profile, where every image is so deliberately planned, and often curated by assistants or even agencies dedicated to conveying a certain persona for the celebrity via photos, Reels, and memes (yes, we are talking about Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling), well, those emojis hit differently. The posts are well-planned and the grids are curated, and yet, there sits a heart or a pumpkin smack dab in the center of everything, an utter distraction. Some celebrities get around this cartoonish intrusion by only posting photos where their children are facing away from the camera. Still others double down by blurring out their kids’ faces like they’re on an episode of Cops. Even when considering and understanding the privacy perspective, it’s still hard, after seeing the photo of Zayn and Gigi holding their little bundle of Hulk not to go right into an existential tailspin, and wonder: What’s in a face? Couldn’t it be argued that a person’s essence is in their face? So without that, what exactly am I even looking at? (And, just in case you’re thinking I sound like a stoned first-year philosophy major debating what it even means to be a person, trust me, I know — and I don’t like that these posts make me feel this way, either). Really though, the most important question I’m always left asking myself after seeing yet another photo of a kid donning a random emoji, like some kind of macabre digital mask (an aesthetic nightmare that isn’t even all that secure from a digital privacy perspective) is this: Why post the photo at all? The answer, I suppose, is that celebrities and influencers are still regular people, who, just like the rest of us, have the same inane impulses to overshare. In fact, their impulses might even be stronger than ours, since they are literal performers on and off social media. But, they also know the power of the illusion of information, and how nothing works better, in terms of maintaining an audience, than pretending to give more than you’re actually giving. So they stoke their fan base by seemingly offering a glimpse into their lives, while also pulling back and asserting control over their own narratives. All of which is fine, but, you know, do they have to do it with such ugly emojis? Like what you see? How about some more R29 goodness, right here?Dakota Johnson Loves Limes. Eva Mendes denies plastic surgery accusation left on her Instagram post: ‘My little ones need me’

Eva Mendes directly denied a plastic surgery accusation that was doled out by an Instagram user on Saturday.

The 46-year-old actress shared a happy birthday message to a friend with a black-and-white photo on Instagarm that prompted one curious fan to inquire about why Mendes has been absent from social media.

EVA MENDES SPEAKS ON SOCIAL MEDIA HIATUS: ‘MY LITTLE ONE TOLD ME I WAS ON THE PHONE TOO MUCH’

“Why you post on insta… so less ????” The inquisitive Instagram user wrote.

But, before Mendes could respond, another commenter suggested the actress stopped posting because she got “work done” in a now deleted reply.

“She’s had work done and I don’t think she’s happy with it,” the commenter wrote. “She was beautiful without.”

EVA MENDES IS FEELING ‘MOM PANDEMIC GUILT’ WHILE ENTERTAINING KIDS

Mendes quickly set the story straight and explained that she has spent less time on Instagram so she can live in the moment more.

“I’m not sure why I’m answering you but here I go. I’m posting less because I really want to be present for my family. My little ones need me and posting takes up too much time,” Mendes replied. “As far as getting work done, I’ll do that whenever I please. But no, that’s not the reason. The reason is I personally cannot juggle family and social media. So -big shocker -I choose family. Lotsa love to you out there.”

EVA MENDES SAYS SHE DIDN’T WANT BABIES UNTIL SHE MET RYAN GOSLING

Mendes, who is married to actor Ryan Gosling, has two daughters, Esmeralda, 6, and Amada, 4.

2021 WWE Royal Rumble predictions, matches, card, start time, date, PPV preview, location

The annual Royal Rumble event, one of the most anticipated annual events on the WWE calendar and a company staple in the month of January, takes center stage on Sunday as the road to WrestleMania 37 opens up. The victors of the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches will, as usual, earn world championship opportunities at WrestleMania 37 in April.

In addition to the two Royal Rumble matches, there are two world title matches currently confirmed for the event. Roman Reigns will defend the universal championship against Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match, and the legendary Goldberg will return to the ring for the first time since WrestleMania 36 to challenge WWE champion Drew McIntyre.

The Royal Rumble will begin at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 31, with the show expected to last anywhere from 3-4 hours, not counting the kickoff show, which starts one hour prior to the main card at 6 p.m. CBS Sports will be with you the entire way on Sunday with live results, highlights and analysis.

For now, let’s take a look at how our experts believe the Royal Rumble will play out this Sunday.

2021 WWE Royal Rumble predictions

Women’s Tag Team Championship: Asuka & Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax

It was ridiculous to put the titles on Asuka & Flair in the first place, and given that each are embroiled in separate singles storylines, it makes even less sense to keep the straps on them. Baszler & Jax were operating perfectly fine as champions and had a nice storyline setup with Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke. With the muscle friends now healthy and back in action, it would be hysterical — albeit depressing — for WWE to flip the titles back to the heels, but I think that’s exactly what they are going to wind up doing, completely eliminating any value from the champions’ current title run. Pick: Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler win the titles — Adam Silverstein (also Brent Brookhouse)

SmackDown Women’s Championship: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Carmella

Carmella has done a good job in her current heel run, and there’s no denying that she has improved as a performer. All that said, Banks is finally enjoying a title reign where she has managed to actually defend the title. It’s hard to see her run coming to an end against Carmella in what has been her first real storyline after winning the belt from Bayley. Banks is an appealing champion heading into WrestleMania, and a match featuring her in the champion role feels like a bigger deal than one with Carmella. It doesn’t feel like there’s much mystery to this one. Pick: Sasha Banks retains the title — Brookhouse (also Silverstein)

Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens (Last Man Standing match)

As fun as a swerve Owens win would be, it just feels entirely unrealistic to expect WWE to cut off Reings’ run ahead of WrestleMania. Reigns has been the best attraction in the company since returning at SummerSlam and Owens has provided a good foil in recent months, but he’s never really seemed a threat to beat Reigns for the title. A Last Man Standing match does provide some outs to keep Owens strong (interference from Jey Uso), but he’s not leaving as universal champion. Pick: Roman Reigns retains the title — Brookhouse (also Silverstein)

WWE Championship: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Goldberg

Fans were rightly enraged when Goldberg emerged on Legends Night to challenge McIntyre, particularly given the fact that the storyline to create the match did not make a shred of sense. With McIntyre out two weeks due to COVID-19, the temperature of fan resentment cooled down but so did any actual interest in this match. Though Goldberg has defeated heel Kevin Owens and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt for the universal title twice — and WWE is building this championship as the lone world title Goldberg has never conquered — it would make absolutely zero sense to put him over the company’s top male babyface that it has spent the last year building. This should be a short match with McIntyre overcoming an early barrage of offense from Goldberg to retain the title and keep it at least until WrestleMania. Pick: Drew McIntyre retains the title — Silverstein (also Brookhouse)

Women’s Royal Rumble match

There are plenty of viable options to win the match, but none that accomplish what a Belair win would. She’s a big time talent who just needs the right storyline to fully break through to being a main event player. Belair showing off her strength and athleticism again in the Rumble while outlasting every other woman immediately establishes her in the title picture far better than her current awkward rivalry with Bayley. Pick: Bianca Belair wins — Brookhouse (also Silverstein)

Men’s Royal Rumble match

If there’s one thing WWE loves to do, it’s give legends main spots at the biggest PPV events of the year. That’s why Goldberg is facing McIntyre, that’s why Goldberg held a world title ahead of last year’s WrestleMania, that’s why The Rock’s name was tied to Reigns for WrestleMania before the lack of a sellout live crowd seemed to tank that. Edge wasn’t returning to be a full-time talent, but it seemed he was ready to be in big spots throughout the year. If WWE wants to take a big swing on an underdog to face Reigns at WrestleMania, Edge would tick a lot of the boxes they’re looking for. Daniel Bryan would also nicely fit the bill, but there’s an itch in the back of my mind saying Edge gets the feel-good moment and the Mania slot. Pick: Edge wins — Brookhouse

Edge announcing his return to WWE and entry into the Royal Rumble on Raw felt like a wasted surprise moment even if that’s what we got last year at this very event, but it did add a level of intrigue to the match because Edge (as predicted above) would make a ton of sense as a Royal Rumble winner and future McIntyre challenger. However, prior to Edge’s announcement, I believed that WWE would move in its best possible booking direction, which is putting Bryan over in the match as the WrestleMania challenger of Roman Reigns. There is a ready-made storyline between Bryan and Reigns dating back to 2014 when Bryan made his long-awaited return at the Royal Rumble only to unceremoniously be eliminated as Reigns went on to win the whole thing. Fans revolted, and that moment was the catalyst to continued dissatisfaction with Reigns as a face.

Seven years later, with Reigns now a heel, WWE can easily reach back and play off that storyline. We saw interactions between Bryan, Reigns and Jey Uso a couple of months ago, and I believe those were planting the seeds for the Road to WrestleMania. There are other legitimate possibilities to win this match, but Bryan makes the most sense by far. He could still earn a shot at Reigns through the Elimination Chamber, but why waste the perfect storyline? Pick: Daniel Bryan wins — Silverstein

Machine Gun Kelly falls off ‘Saturday Night Live’ stage during end credits

Machine Gun Kelly sure made a noticeable exit on this week’s “Saturday Night Live.”

The 30-year-old singer and rapper served as the musical guest for NBC’s sketch comedy show upon its return from a winter break. Although his two performances went on without incident, he managed to fall off the stage during the end credits.

MEGAN FOX ADDRESSES MACHINE GUN KELLY ENGAGEMENT RUMORS AFTER SHE’S SPOTTED WEARING RING

Kelly’s tumble happened shortly after guest-host John Krasinski thanked him and the cast and crew for their work on the episode. When the actor finished delivering his message, Kelly excitedly tried to pick up his famous “SNL” pal, Pete Davidson, but quickly lost his balance and the pair fell off the not-so-high stage.

“SNL” cast member Bowen Chen appears to look on at the scene in shock as he walked in the pair’s direction. Other cast and crew who were nearby were in stitches about Kelly and Davidson’s spill.

Krasinski tried to help the duo get back up, but they were able to do it themselves, seemingly without injury.

Kelly appeared to remain in good spirits and even jumped on Davidson’s shoulders for a brief moment after they got back up on stage.

MEGAN FOX LIKENS HER PASSION FOR MACHINE GUN KELLY TO A FORCE OF NATURE

The singer was in a celebratory mood after rocking the house at Studio 8H with performances of his songs “My Ex’s Best Friend” and “Lonely.”

When Kelly wasn’t making headlines for toppling over with Davidson, he caught the attention of fans and paparazzi on Saturday when he carried girlfriend Megan Fox into NBC Studios.

The young recording artist shared video of his chivalrous deed to Twitter that day with a “good afternoon NYC.” Some people crowding the pair wore face masks while many others did not, including Fox and Kelly.

Both stars have been an item since the actress parted ways from her husband, “90210” actor Brian Austin Green. Fox and Kelly reportedly fell in love while they began filming their upcoming crime thriller film “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” according to E! News. Production had been halted in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
